The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight round match which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.
Briton Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the combatants met personally to build hype for next month's bout.
Ex two-time unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami's venue on December 19th.
Boxer's Mindset
"I will damage his features and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to genuinely try to injure him. That's my goal."
Civil Exchange
In spite of such comments, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - usually known for his theatrics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul instead criticized ex Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "not serious" after the Cameroonian declined a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, took aim at British rival Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he showed up," the boxer stated.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of stating he plans to punish Paul, Joshua chose not to talk badly about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Paul's History
Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He lost to British fighter Fury in 2023.
Commercial Success
However, the inexperienced fighter is still one of the sport's greatest commercial attractions, frequently receiving massive paydays.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old predicted a knockout win in rounds four or five and stated he would stop the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly under discussion for 2026.
"It's going to be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul stated.
Size Disparity
As the two fighters participated in the usual confrontation, with their size difference on show, it drove home just how surprising this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the match is actually happening.
